It is not the extremely advanced technological world we imagine but a place of destruction. Governments and countries are falling apart, the environment has completely changed, and people are barely able to grow any food due to water shortages. Joseph Cooper, a former NASA test pilot, is the main character in this movie.

Jessica was supposed to go to space with her parents. And, she did… but she wakes up to nd nobody in the ship but herself. We, herself and… a duplicate of herself. As the story goes on, find out what happened to get the two Jessicas in the situation they’re in, and what they’ do to get out of that situation. I liked Star Splitter a lot, but one thing I will mention is that it had a lot of foul language/swearing in it, so if you are uncomfortable with that sort of thing, I would not recommend it. But other than that, I thought the book was pretty good!

The Martian is a fictional story about an astronaut who accidentally gets stranded on Mars and only has limited supplies to survive the hostile conditions of the planet and find a way to contact NASA to get himself back to earth.
